This week is a week of communication.
On Friday I had an interview with an arts reporter from the local newspaper in White Rock.
On Wednesday morning I have an interview for an artist residency in Wales.
On Wednesday afternoon I will be having coffee to discuss a potential art book project.
I have to admit that I get a little scared of talking about myself and my work this much.
It is distracting from the making of the work. I second guess myself.
My tongue at times gets tied and I feel as though I have to talk everything up.
I need to make the work sound like it is more than it is.
This week also holds prep work for the Rock, Paper, Scissors exhibition.
I have a couple of drawings to finish, a check that all of my wall attachments are present and functional, and some photographs to take.
It’s going to be a busy one and I hope I don’t trip over my words in the flustering frenzy.
