As some of you may remember, in June I exhibited a site specific window piece at the Ranger Station Gallery. It was made up of hand painted silk triangles in a grey felt frame and each triangle reflected a colour of the lake beyond during the spring turnover. While it was in place I took a series of photographs of the view through each triangle and I have been working with these images on a new project.
Since then, I have taken the panels apart from each other creating 30 individual wall/window hangings at 10 x 10 inches each. These I have tied with a string for hanging and am now making available for sale. They are $45 each plus $5 for shipping. It is my hope that they will share that shifting colour of light on water to many far off places and also that art buyers will send me back a photograph of the view taken through their piece.
If anyone is interested please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with which number piece you would like and we can organize payment. The full range still available can be viewed below and I will try to keep on top of taking down the ones that have sold. They make great handmade gifts!
